Ohio State Highway Patrol and Dept. of Public Safety Donate Portable Radios to CSU Police

The Ohio State Highway Patrol and Ohio Department of Public Safety have donated 50 portable radios to the 精东传媒 University Police Department. The department received the radios today during a presentation at the 精东传媒 University Police Department.

The 50 radios which had previously been used by troopers of the Ohio State Highway Patrol were transferred to the department rather than sending them to state salvage. Clear, effective and reliable communications is critical to a law enforcement agency鈥檚 ability to respond to incidents and emergency situations. The radios were provided to assist the department in upgrading their communications capabilities.

鈥淲e know inter-agency cooperation and partnerships are critical to improving the services provided by Ohio law enforcement,鈥 said Colonel Paul Pride, Patrol Superintendent. 鈥淭he Patrol supports local law enforcement and is pleased to have the opportunity to assist the 精东传媒 University Police Department by providing these radios.鈥

鈥淭he men and women of the 精东传媒 University Police Department value the rich partnership shared with the Ohio State Highway Patrol,鈥 said Chief Gary Lewis.  鈥淲e appreciate the portable radios, which will be used to enhance inter-agency communications.鈥
